How to Hide Files on Android so nobody can cee
On all Android devices, you can easily hide files without using third-party tools. The way is quite easy to accomplish but not everyone knows. Please follow our instructions below.
- Open the File Manager (depending on the smartphone series you may need to install additional file management software).
- Create a new folder, giving you the most easy to remember name.
- Copy all images, videos, documents or anything you want to hide into this folder.
- Final step, rename the folder by adding "." to the previous. For example rename the Hidefolder folder to become .Hidefolder.
Now the folder was hidden away.
You can display it again by going to the Settings section, selecting File Manager settings, selecting Show hidden files and folders.

Any files you have placed in the currently hidden directory are not indexed or accessed by the application. Hidden pictures and videos will also not show in the Image Gallery application. However the hidden files will show when you connect your phone to your computer.
You should test this method with some common files on your device before using it to hide important files.
If there is anything wrong to use this method, do not hesitate to leave under comment.
